KUMB Writers Award 2004/05 – Jimmy Walks it!

The 2004/05 KUMB Writers award has been won by Jimmy Walker.

The ‘keeper topped the charts, which are based on the player marks awarded for each game by KUMB’s merry band of match reporters with an average score of 6.60, a mere 0.04 marks ahead of rookie defender Elliott Ward who took second place with 6.56.

Both players marks would have been even higher but for the weighting system introduced this year to take into account the number of appearances made.

Nigel Reo-Coker finished in third place whilst last year’s winner, Matty Etherington, finished well adrift of the medal places in 13th spot.
