1. While we welcome you to stay and chat as long as you like, please remember that there are often minors present in this room. Making rude, obscene, racist, suggestive or otherwise obnoxious remarks is *NOT* acceptable. We are sorry to even have to mention this, but we remind you NOT to be obscene or abusive or you and your computer will be banned from this server and your ISP notified.
2. This is an unmoderated chat room. While we do try and administer the room as often as possible and routinely expel and ban obnoxious users, please appreciate that we cannot police the chat room on a 24 hour basis and are not responsible for the content of the chat room. If you do come across an offensive user, just click on the username and the checkbox 'Ignore User' - all messages from that users will not appear on your screen, it is as if the user just went away.
3. There's no maximum number of people who may chat at any one time!
4. Knees Up Mother Brown will in no way be held responsible for remarks, criticisms etc. you make within our site. If you intend libelling or defaming somebody please do it somewhere else.
5. PLEASE NOTE ... YOUR WEB BROWSER MUST BE JAVA ENABLED IN ORDER TO USE THE CHAT ROOM ie. the latest versions of IE, Mozilla, Opera, Safari or Netscape.
