Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I'm still not sure we've quite reached Allardyce levels. Honestly though, if you're a West Ham fan and you haven't been able to enjoy the last 3 years, then I'm not sure what you are getting out of supporting the club tbh. This is true stoney, I've absolutely loved what Moyes has done for this club...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

One of the most successful managers in our recent history, is the cause for this forum going from a place of enjoyment, to becoming a place divided by incessant bickering.

Sad really.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

I've made a point of not taking these Thursday nights for granted, absolutely loved every second of it. If that is the last one for a while, it makes me genuinely sad, but immensely proud at the same time. Likewise If that was to be Moyes' last European game in charge, then despite the outcome, he r...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

I too was pleased, still naively hold some hope that he will come good, you have to wonder if it is purely psychological though, as despite not being as good as people made out when we signed him, he's not as bad as he's currently showing. One thing it does highlight though, is just how good a playe...

Don't worry Smuts, things will even out next season.

When we don't have any European football, Kudus and Paqueta will leave, and we'll have a championship level attack too.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

That's the Bielsa and Guardiola in him.. high pressing.

Would have thought a professional would be able to change and adapt though, it's not like Moyes is asking him to learn a foreign language.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The club might have identified these players prior to Steidten's arrival, but he is the one responsible for bringing them in. Who knows whether we would have signed them without him. Besides, I don't think Sullivan chartering a flying lawn mower via Willie McKay, would have had the same appeal as Bi...
