Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Attack wide and win corners as they seem to have an average team height of 5 foot and a fag paper. JWP and Cress to supply. Aguerd, Zouma, Soucek, Mav, Antonio are all top class headerers (is that a word?) of the ball . 2 set pieces and a Kudus wonder goal and we win this on pens. Piece of Piss mush...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

From memory the initial Newcastle attack build up before that pen came from the right , KP was in that area of the field and made little effort to stop the ball reaching our final third.

No pressure on the right back on the build up to the 2nd pen and lets Barnes have time for the last goal. Kid's an ice cream

JWP for me if the plan is to try to have a decent possession rate, run at them, and win lots of corners. If it's a sit back and soak it up night then I thin...

Even if we Moyseball tonight I don't think we keep a clean sheet against this outfit. Need to set up to score 3 goals from the start, not from 72mins

Could be a cracker this or a very frantic nervy last 20mins

Can't call it but can't wait COYI
