Watch this space .....
My first tip for ages,Many Clouds, did the business and landed a fair wager for me.
Then the football ... Having 14 out of 16 teams score in the first half (normally between 6 & 9 at best) was it really too much to hope Accrington & Newport could just get one goal each ? Course it was. Thanks Accrington.P1ss off Newport County !!!
Ending the day with a few quid on the mighty Eibar @ 15/4 to turn over Moyes' Real Sociedad.

Skybet have posted a few bits and pieces on their Twitter.Arnold Layne wrote:Indeed, wonder if anyone had Brad,Boro & Leics? Mighty odds on that treble.
Someone did a £100 win double on Boro and Bradford returning ~£29,000.
Someone else won £36,000 from a £2 six team accumulator that included Bradford and Boro.
Then there was this guy (he cashed out some time in the first half for about £15,000), would have been sick if he didn't cash out and Bolton went on to win though.

This could have been the sickest one of the lot (£10 stake to win just shy of £1 million) - worth reading the comments below too.

Re: Official Betting Thread
Anyone dabble on Paddy Power's FA Cup treble today?
Backed ourselves, Villa and Arsenal to win, 18/1 enhanced odds. Tenner on. £190 back.
Bang on.
However, as a man who doesn't bet on a regular basis, I have a query...
Obviously, the bet came in, and I've been paid my winnings for the bet without the enhanced odds. £71.01. Does this mean I did not put the bet on correctly? Or do you have to wait a certain amount of time before being paid the rest?

I guess it's because they think you're more inclined to spend it again with them when it's a lesser amount.

If you opened a PP account for this offer you may well get your "extra" money upto 48 hours after the event..............it's stated in the T/Cs of the offer that they initially settle the bet but will add the "extra" upto 48 hours later.LincolnshireHammer wrote: Or do you have to wait a certain amount of time before being paid the rest?
However, if you already had a PP account you won't get the "enhanced" money.

Re: Official Betting Thread
By the way...
Many congratulations on Many Clouds.
Hugely impressive I thought. A straight forward horse. Good jumper, goes on any ground, won at Chelters.
10s for the Gold Cup looks luvly jubbly ...E/W..........I liked the second in Saturdays race as an outsider too, Smad Place 25s with Hills.
Silviniaco Conti would gag up around a "Kempton" Gold Cup..............but it's Cheltenham.

Re: Official Betting Thread
Not sure if I'm missing something but the John Ferguson horse in the first at Ludlow, due off in about 10 minutes or so, won a decent maiden race at Sandown a few weeks back on ridiculously heavy ground - something he wasn't expected to run well on (drifted from evens to 3/1 on the day).
Today's ground is soft so I'd say no problem. He's a bit short at 11/8 so I'm tempted by the forecast with AP McCoy's horse who's out of a four time Gold Cup winner.

Re: Official Betting Thread
So jumping the last this forecast looked inevitable when a 16/1 shot comes from nowhere to win.
