Lost! Metalurg could only manage a draw! Luckily my mate who works at Coral gave me a free £10 Horse Racing Bet and £5 Machine Play

Don't be sorry mate it is the Europa League anything can happen. Rosenborg just about beat Crusaders with an 81st minute winner and Rosenborg to win were 1/25 so I expected a bigger result from them!

Re: Official Betting Thread
I wonder what the stats are for favourites?
I mean surely laying them has got to be better then betting on them to win?
The odds are in the layers favour are they not?
So instead of betting on an even money favourite, you would lay it and percentage wise have more chance of coming out on top.
Would this stand a chance of working?

Yes definitely in this current bad weather we are experiencing that would be and ideal thing to do and maybe even extend the laying of bets to lay the place as well, as with the soft ground it's becoming a lottery on picking horsesmushy wrote:I wonder what the stats are for favourites?

But I've closed my accounts with the firms that allow me to "lay" bets I don't think them accounts re-open until about October

Is that for the haye fight? If so then that's free moneylake1986 wrote:On ladbrokes, fight to be over within 8 rounds @11/10
Re: Official Betting Thread
Ok, so IMO Khan wins, on points or in 12, no other result. The Haye/Chisora goes one of two ways for me, Haye on points or Chisora by KO. So with that in mind -
Khan/Haye on points double.
Khan/Chisora KO/TKO/Retirement double
Khan/Haye on points double.
Khan/Chisora KO/TKO/Retirement double

Just taken some very large bets on Polish Partisan in the 5:55 at Sligo.
Its around the 50/1 mark. They all seem convinced its got at the very least an each way chance. Sceptical myself but worth a mention.
