Had a cheeky £5 on Westwood to lead 1st round at 15-8, seemed reasonable odds when he had played 10

My e/w money has gone on Adam Scott and Luke Donald so no looking great there

Gone for a Yankee on 4 1st goalscorers for today's games:

Jelavic, Maynard, Papa Cisse, Adebayor.

If all come in I could be looking at £700 not bad for a £5.50 bet.

Haven't put a bet on in a month or so because I can't stand losing money. Referred a friend on betfair for the £25 free bet, so I got credited £25. I withdrew £15 and put £8 on West Ham, Bristol City, Swindon and Newcastle. Gets me back £100 . Then £2 on Sunderland, Chelsea, Stoke and QPR to win £239

If anyone is interested in signing up to betfair put APRPRQ69G in the promo code when you sign up, you need to deposit £25 then bet the £25, if it loses you get it back (And can withdraw it) If it wins you get the full winnings + stake + £25 (All withdrawable)

I've got a couple of questions for the lads on here who like a bet:

Firstly, is it bad that I bet on teams around the hammers so if they do win I feel less bad about it?

Also, What is the most you have won on an accumulator, I cant seem to win more than £32

For you first question, no it isn't. One of the rules of betting to win, is bet with your head and not your heart. If you think a particular team is going to win, then it shouldn't matter who it is or who they are playing. I draw the line at betting against West Ham though.

As for your second question, the answers you get from here will depend on the type of bettor that you are talking to. Some might like the low stakes, high odds, others like me, prefer high stakes low odds. Have had a couple of £500+ accumulators come in but have shelled out £60 - £150 as the stake. It's all about how much you can afford to lose.

If you can win £32 ever time you bet then that is much better than winning £1000 once ever 6 months but spending more than that to get there.

I usually do £10 on a both teams to score double and it pays £30, so I withdraw £20 and use the £10 again and try to repeat this as many times as possible, got up to £60 yesterday and its still ongoing!

Yesterday wasnt great for betting...went to the pub with £40 to watch the game but had a few mins to spare so I popped into ladbrokes next door for a few first goal scorers/results etc.
Put £30 in roulette and lost so had to get home and get some more cash.
By the time I got back to the pub, we were 1-0 down and all my bets were already off!!

Just seen the team dalglish is putting out  bunch of reserves the only plus is Bellamy is starting so here's hoping
11/4 has now changed to 7/2, I took the bloody 11/4

Well they just scored., which works for me as i have Liverpool, Milan and Lyon in a treble.

Edt: make that 2 in 2 minutes.

Southampton V Reading.
12/5 the draw with Boyles and Paddy P.
I reckon a draw will suit them both and cant see either team breaking their necks (he said hoping for the opposite).
