Surely no bookie is stupid enough to have that on offer.

Orpha scares me to be honest, kinda wishing hadn't put it in my 6 fold. pays around 16/1 though.
started doing these recently as well as 'to win without *favourite*'
some great value, particulary if stuck between 2 horses and can bet 'without' one of them

Whacked on Orpha at 7/4 then got best odds at 2/1.

Group one entered debutant for Mick Channon running up against average sorts and donkeys?

Was never going to lose.

Well played my man. On the 5 bets i posted they all came in (one was void)
had singles, doubles, 4 folds. Was laughing.

Those bets am starting to really love

Dark Orchid w/o arrow lake at 7/2

dark orchid/arrow lake a r/f/c

them too should win and at odds of 11/4 and 9/2 we should get a nice payout

Had New Romantic at 20/1 each way. It's part of the Elite Racing syndicate, of which I'm a member so knew had a bit of inside knowledge.

Another furlong it may have won.

Going to put a football double on before the season starts. Man City for the Prem and Birmingham for the Championship. Usually do a bet like this every year. Anyone do anything similar?

I usually do winner of each division bet but to be honest I really cannot pick any this year. I fancy Blackburn, Preston and Fleetwood for promotion though so may go for that. Not great odds though.

Paddy Power I got £427.50 return on £10 double for Man City and Birmingham as league champions. Thought that was decent (they had Brum as 19/1). Was tempted by Blackburn, but with Kean and the Chicken owners will be a chaotic season for them.

I was talking about my one as not decent odds. I think Brum have potential to be up there again but cannot see them actually winning it, top. 6 maybe. Blackburn seem to have kept quite a string squad and have strengthened well. Murphy and Etuhu should do well in the middle of the park.

Birmingham are my pick of the bunch for league winner
I might be tempted to back them in the betfair/betdaq markets and hope they win their first run of 6 or so games and lay the bets for a quick profit

I was thinking of doing, Celtic to win the league, Rangers to win the league, portsmouth to go down and west ham to stay up. Was about 14/1 last week.

How the hell are you getting 14/1 on that? Off the top of my head the odds are 1/25, 1/20, 1/2 and 1/8!

14/1??? where!? I would be all over that, it's an absolute no brainer. Celtic are 1/50 on Bet365.

For the first weekend. I love my Bournemouth/Man Utd/Liverpool/West Ham @ around 16/1 (placed the bet 2 weeks ago when the odds on Bournemouth were higher than the evens you'll get now - think I got them at 7/4).

Picked up a coupon this morning Dyl and Bournemouth are 5/4. Online though they are down to 4/6 so no doubt the odds will have changed when putting the bet on. My bet for this weekend is Birmingham, Forest and Preston, around 6/1. Brum at 5/6 home to Charlton looks very good to me
