Re: Official Betting Thread
The side playing tonight is close enough to their first XV, think Canada will be tired and looking ahead to the next game.

Ah ok, I just saw a headline that they're making xx changes... assumed it to be resting players, rather than the other way round.
Canada proper sh*t then?

had a small 6 bet 'Heinz' last night and at one point all of the results were coming in and the cash out option just disapeared and never came back (bet365) why does this happen?

Re: Official Betting Thread
Not sure if it's been mentioned on here before but was wondering was anybody else on here following the Sporting Life football accum tip every week.It came in at 18/1 midweek (which I forgot about) and has landed twice already this season at 18/1 and 16/1 at the weekends. A £10 stake for each of their tips this season is currently running at a profit of £410 and they finished last season well in profit also.

Re: Official Betting Thread
Did one of the teams go 3 or 4 goals in front? If so, they would have removed the full time result from the market, meaning it was unavailable, hence unavailable to cash in until the full settlement.Ben wrote:had a small 6 bet 'Heinz' last night and at one point all of the results were coming in and the cash out option just disapeared and never came back (bet365) why does this happen?

Re: Official Betting Thread
my bet365 "free" in play bet finally paid off!
£50 on sanchez double returned £550!
hovered over the hat trick too which i think was something ridiculous like 30-1!

Re: Official Betting Thread
OUCH !!
I have never EVER felt so cheated when losing a bet (the previous low being Gerrards goal and all that meant being a West Ham fan).
I've done a football treble and the first leg has just let me down (the other 2,Real Madrid & PSG,are both still playing and both winning BUT those results are now deemed irrelevant in my brain).
Anderlecht missed 2 penalties in first 14 minutes against Mechelen (2 different players). They then went ahead in the 55th minute. In the 89th minute they missed a THIRD penalty and then,as if you could write it,they scored a 93rd minute OWN GOAL to make it 1-1 !!!
Now we're not talking a lot of money here but when Joe Public thinks he's got a decent 3.5/1 treble going on it just stinks of something wrong wrong wrong.
Gutted / angry only just touches the sides.

Well done Jastons.
I joined you with the bookie bashing today (although I don't think we made them go out of business) ...
I had a £5 seven game BTTS come up which paid £156

Re: Official Betting Thread
I know betting is a recipe for sob stories but yesterday was a real horror
Cesarwitch - Oriental Fox @ 20/1 lost a head bobber in a photo when ahead with 20 yds to go.
5.00 New - Divine @ 20/1, Clearly going best, trapped behind runners, got out too late to sprint into closing 3rd.
5.35 New - Sovereign Debt @ 14/1, mown down on line by fast finisher after going clear.
I backed them all each way, but that is about £150 that just slipped out my hands....

Re: Official Betting Thread
Speaking of feeling robbed, I bet on there being over 84.5 points in the Argentina v Namibia game that's just finished. Namibia scored a try in the last play of the game which took the total to 83 with a fairly straight forward conversion needed to clinch my bet. Then they let their massive prop captain take the kick as he's quitting after the World Cup. The kick barely made it to the bottom of the posts and my bet now loses, f***ers.

That's gross. However I'd love to have seen video footage of you watching the prop step up to take that kick.Hammersfaniow wrote:Speaking of feeling robbed, I bet on there being over 84.5 points in the Argentina v Namibia game that's just finished. England, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia - 9/4.
All dead rubbers but huge shock if any of those drop points against Lithuania, Estonia, Luxembourg and San Marino.

Switzerland made me sweat a bit!
Had England 3-0 and 4-0 so was well covered.
