Re: Official Betting Thread
So liverpool team corners
7.75 - 8.25
Does that mean if you put £1 on and they got 4 corners in the first half and 2 in the second you would get £8.25 back?

Re: Official Betting Thread
No, you could buy the corners at 8.25 so for every corner over 8 they won, you'd win £1.Upminster Hammer wrote:So liverpool team corners

Multi Corners is first half multiplied by second half.
Re: Official Betting Thread
Correct lake. You are buying at 3.5 so your max loss is 3.5 x your stake per point. So if you go £5 per point your max loss will be £17.50. If malmo get 3 first half and 3 second (for example) the end result would be 9 - the 3.5 you bought at = 5.5 x £5 = £27.50

Cheers Dyl,
I have started with £1 stakes just to get the hang of things and will progress from there.
Seems more fun for tv games rather then sticking £20 on the win.

Re: Official Betting Thread
Yeah, you're spot on, Lake
Also, very sensible to start with small stakes so you get a real life sense of profit and loss and how quick it can swing. Sometimes, when you play with a 'fun' account, you'd risk a hell of a lot more and then possibly win more (or not care that you lost) as it isn't real money.
Stick 1/10 or 1/100 of a stake on, see how it works to make it easy to track.
Still undecided on whether I see any value yet.
Malmo would just be a pot shot, as their line is so low.

As AD touched on, what you're looking at is their total corners, standard.Upminster Hammer wrote:So liverpool team corners

Nothing to do with multis, halves, anything... just how many corners they will get.
In your scenario, their total corners would be 6.
You bought @ 8.25
Final result is 6
It would represent a 2.25 point loss.
x your stake = £2.25 loss

Re: Official Betting Thread
Tempted my to go with arsenal multi corners @5. Dortmund have got alot of injuries. I have £100 credit to trade with as my signing up bonus.
If I was to place this bet at £10pp. I would lose £50 credit max.

Re: Official Betting Thread
I like it too.
As a note of caution, Arsenal can either be the most infuriating or the most joyous team to back for corners.
The f*ckers will get 2 or 12!

Re: Official Betting Thread
Nope, never ended up putting on anything.
Malmo would have been a 0.5 point win, so nothing really lost there.
That's what I mean about Arsenal. I stay the f*ck away from them nowadays, though 5 was a pretty decent line to be fair.
I am all over Man City multis tomorrow.
No team of Man City's class should be 4.5, regardless of the opposition. I also think Bayern are not currently at full steam, with a fair few players absent.

Yeah, last night put me off Arsenal for life.
4.5 is decent for man city, I will be getting on that tonight.

Re: Official Betting Thread
Same as Arsenal, they're playing a good side, so also don't be surprised if they don't win many.
But, as I mentioned, they have got the ability and players to get a bucketload, so with the line being that low, it's a potentially big chance.

Re: Official Betting Thread
3.40 Sandown.
Not so much a tip, more of value.
Producer is 6/4 fav. Emell is 11/2. Both Hannon horses at level weights.
Last race Emmel beat Producer by 1 and a half lengths.
Price seems to be dictated by the fact that Hughes had the choice of either and has chosen Producer.
Just think Emell is way too high and represents value.

Re: Official Betting Thread
I fancy Fulham to turn over Forest tonight.
Done £6.50 on that and a Blackburn/Derby draw - returns £108
