IT'S CHELTENHAM!!!
(aka Christmas)

Gutted not to be making the trip up there this year but the plus side is I get to chat on the betting thread for the first time.

Day One.

Lot's of big favorites out there but I am not keen on them all. What are we all fancying?

Race 1 - Gallieo's Choice.
Race 2 - Not having Sprinter Sacre at that price so it will be Al Ferof to power up the hill for me!
Race 3 - Will be looking for a bit of value here, maybe Noland or Fruity Orooney.
Race 4 - Rock on Ruby E/W or in a forcast with the Hurricane.
Race 5 - Sizing Aussie and Garde Champ each way plus maybe Maljimar.
Race 6 - Quevega
Race 7 - Carrickboy and Going Wrong seem appropriate

I think the other thread has been the place to drown our collective sorrows the last few years. :D

Actually, looking at my bet, I shoulda just removed the non-value of Bayern and stuck a tenner on the treble.

Pr*ck

Bet365 are doing their free in play bet offer again tonight. Place any bet up to the value of £50 on the Chelsea-Napoli game and get the same value bet for in play. Going have £50 on a 'near' banker, like 1 goal or more, and then stick the other £50 on a speculative bet.

Fishbone...

How do those bets work in terms of conditions with the winnings from the free bet?

Are the winnings only to be further used in the account, or can you withdraw them?

In past dealings I have been able to withdraw the winnings mate, but the stake is not normally included in the returns. I think thats the general way they go about it.

That makes sense, I guess.

The 'betting the original stake on a banker' tactic is something that I hadn't heard of before.

Shame William Hill or Skybet don't offer such deals! :x

Could be wrong but I think the bet365 offer was a refund of a losing bet rather than a free bet.

All the companies vary with their offers, bet365 regularly give me a free £5 bet in which I keep both the winnings and the stake.

Is the right answer. Last night I had £50 pre-play on there being over 11 corners at evens and then about 10 minutes into the game, had my 'free' bet on over 2.5 goals. I needed £100 in my account. However had there been 10 corners, I would have got my money back.

Thankfully both copped and was £145 in profit.
