I think the bookies priced the Wales game wrong, 11/4 was great value
I had Wales -1 @ 7/1 which i thought should have been roughly 4/1

Half a Sixpence, 1655 at the Curragh, my sons best friends family have connections to the owners in Ireland so that's as good a reason as any for me to throw money at it :D

Romford 21:17
Fancy the look of clean up cheyne.
Gonna have a little go I think. Currently 10/3 but looks a pretty even race.

Should have stuck £100 on under 2.5 as a saver at that point. Would have been a decent price.

SAIL HOME in the 2.30 at Chelmsford tomorrow. This horse is just getting back into form having finished 3/13 at a pretty big price in his second from last run at C&D, 2/10 at Kempton after that and finally winning at C&D last time out. Shelley Birkett retains the ride and she has gotten a good tune out of this horse in the past.

The horse won off a mark of 62 at Lingfield over 10f on the AW a couple of years ago but had a lay off from March 13 to October 14. His first few comeback runs were poor but now he looks back to his prime and his mark is just 57 now (just a 2lb rise for the previous win over C&D).

His main market rivals should be Ninety Minutes who looks a good horse but struggles/lacks experience on the AW and his only run at 10f was a 5/11 place finish at Lingfield as a 20/1 longshot - not one I see as a great prospect despite the Racing Post tipping him in this race.

Another one I think could be dangerous is Perseverant Pete who finished second to Sail Home last time out. However his form before that is really lacking. The plus for this horse would be the booking of Luke Morris who guided him home to 2nd place last time and is a machine at Chelmsford. All the other horses in this race have average/poor form.

Summary - SAIL HOME to win the 2.30 Chelmsford currently 3/1 on PaddyPower

For those of you that followed my double the other day, spoke to my mate again as he's at Kempton later, the only one he's sure of is Aussie Andre in the 19.15. Asked him about New Leyf who I've followed a bit and he said that although he's done his winning over 6f, he should be excused his last run at 7f - that's where he's been kept for the 20.15. Might be worth a small bit on the nose, but definitely worth e/w. I've done a big single on the first, small single on the second and small win double.
