Today i bumped into...

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

In a similar vein to HammerMan2004 I was working in the less glamorous than New York Edinburgh and bumped into equally less glamorous Chris Powell at City airport. Didn't recognise him until he'd walked away. Always seems like a decent bloke on the telly and someone who conducted himself with integrity at Charlton.

Just after spotting him I clocked Pat Nevin.

The two of them probably don't equal a Pirlo, though.

Eddie Izzard at London Victoria last night

really surprised at how short he is, always imagined him being about 6ft, he must be 5'6 in heels

The Wire actor Dominic West in the queue for passport control at Heathrow this morning.

Two of his kids were properly playing up and he looked a broken man.

I was pleased about this, him being a rugged, tall, handsome, successful rich bloke and me having well behaved children.

Matt Ryan and Mohamed Sanu, QB and WR for the Atlanta Falcons at a charity do for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta , raising money for kids that suffer from cancer.
Both seemed really decent blokes.

Bonzo793 of this parish. A bit weird showing a German around the Stratford area, but I managed not to mention chip shops.

Did he require any help? Did you tell him you were only trying to help him?

I see him too just outside of the station, Jeans, high heels, red lippy. Not that tall, looked a bit gaunt.

Was in my local village shop the other week, and the guy in front of me had SUFC tattooed on his wrist.. turned out to be Sean Bean, lives in a stately home down here somewhere.

Don't think he is over the whole Tevez affair yet.. had trolley full of Thatchers and Stella.. at 9 in the morning..
