Couple of weekends ago,Chris Robsaw, England Rugby Captain, round his place for a BBQ, celebrate his Mrs birthday. Couldn't meet a more grounded bloke. Burgers were good also and the beer cold!

A couple of weeks ago, I met Darren 'sicknote' Anderton, Gary Pallister, Tony Mowbray and Ian 'Moose' Abrahams.

They seemed alright.

Clacton-ammer wrote:Met an old West Ham legend a couple of weeks back, Lawrie Leslie, was our goalkeeper early 60's, all he talked about was the game against Arsenal, ended 3-3, he got injured in goal, so they changed keepers and he played on the wing for the rest of the game, had a blinder he said, he got Hammer of the Year that year as well! Lovely old fella, played in the team with Sir Bob as well. Could have listened to him for hours.

He did make me chuckle, he kept saying, the Arsenal boys kept saying when he was flying down the wing and making them look silly "****ing stop him, he is only a goalkeeper" :D
KUMB, interview this fella!! I for one would love to read his story.

Just popped into my mind...after the Soton game at home a couple of weeks back, Chris Kamara sprinting down the Barking Road in a suit away from the ground. Everyone was just watching in bemusement.

Kiefer Sutherland while I was on holiday last week in LA.

I was in a clothes shop and he walked in with a very glamorous looking bird, he is tiny. She was pushing 6' in her heels, towered over him.

I like him. Colin Mochrie as the history of time in Party Quirks will live with me for life.

First famous face I've randomly seen in ages too.
