actually a very very nice guy, if you can slow him down enough so you can understand what he's saying. Had a beer or two with him on several occasions.

'Celebrity' Hammers fan Matt Lorenzo in the BA lounge at T5 a couple of weeks ago. I overheard him say he was off to South Africa but no idea why.

Probably because contracting Cholera is less painful than watching 90mins at Upton Park.

Salman Rushdie.

Well - not quite bumped into but he was sitting 2 tables away at the Wolseley in Piccadilly.

He was sitting at the same table that Jimmy Carr, Dale Winton and David Walliams were at last time I went.Woo-hoo!

Nice restaurant - art deco 30's building - good food if anyone is interested.... bit pricey though......

I haven't been to llanrumney for years, but used to go to visit my auntie in Countisbury Avenue, also had the unfortunate experience of going to St.Illtyds High School on Newport Road. It's all been upgraded since i was there a few years ago - but a right ****hole then it was!

I went out for a curry last Saturday and in walked that chap who plays Alf on Home and Away, who is in the local panto. After he'd demolished his balti, a couple of slightly innebriated lads asked (knowing full well what soap he had been in) if he used to be in Neighbours!!
