Today i bumped into...

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

How does Kanu qualify for a costco card? Being a pensioner make it easier or something?

. . . well yesterday, actually.

Michaela Strachan on the Northern Line, looking right miserable - probably 'cos she was wearing some well dodgy strides.

Do you live in Limehouse WHU Ind??? I see Cleo Rocos and her mum quite a bit down Narrow Street, Limehouse. Think that she lives along there near to David Owen (miserable old git) and Sir Ian McKellan (always gay).

Made me laugh. As if he might wake up in the morning and think - I don't fancy being gay today.

Met Joan Collins the other day at work. Bit of a fruitcake. And had a chat with Steve McQueen (the director of that new film Shame, not the great escape actor back form the dead). He seemed like a pretty normal bloke, unlike a lot of the directors I've met.

The bloody coffee table at 4 am, I now have a throbbing shin bone.

I am convinced your shin bone was invented as a device to locate things in the dark.

My 17-y-o son is working on court services at the Australian Open tennis - setting up towels/drinks for players, 'de-fluffing' the courts, wiping up players' vomit, etc.

He was wheeling a big trolley full of ***** around a blind corner a couple of days ago when a tall blonde swerved to avoid him. It was Maria Sharapova. If not for some fine evasive action, he could have literally bumped into her and quite possibly have ended her career.
