I bumped into him last week at terminal waiting to get on a flight to Aberdeen. I told him he looked better with a bandage on his head. From his look - it wasn't the first time he heard it. :D

Used to sell mobiles in a shop on Oxford st. sold phones to Martin Clunes (it was for his mum!) and Daniel Beddingfield.

Got talking to Teddy Sheringham on boxing day, he was at Hayes Lane for Bromley v Welling. His son Charlie plays for Welling these days

Ok here goes. Over the years I have bumped into :

Jean-Jacques Burnel of The Stranglers on an EasyJet flight to Nice (it’s nice there apparently and I was the only one who recognised him)
Chris Rhea with two bodyguards on a plane and no-one else recognised him.
Patsy Kensit on a flight to LA when she was dating Liam (she kept going to the loo every 15 minutes for a bugle I reckon)
Herbie Hancock on the same flight who was pissed and trying to chat Patsy up all the time.
Kelvin McKenzie checking in at Heathrow (I desperately wanted to punch him)
Damon Albarn staggering around Soho pissed mid-90’s and buzzing a “lady’s” doorbell
The Pet Shop Boys “Shopping” (cue song) down the Kings Road
Nigel Planer (Young One’s Neil) in a boozer in Chelsea.
Johnny Marr talking to Tim Finn before a Patti Smith gig (and they were both rude bastards)
Weller twice (early 80’s in HMV Oxford St with his bird and 2000 at a Woking record fair) and both times he was a top bloke to talk to.
Amir Khan at a book signing and he was a top bloke too.
Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks in a restaurant in Soho (he was really nice)
Jack Dee hosting his kid Phoebie’s birthday party lunch at a West End Pizza Express (he looked really embarrassed)
Griff Rhys Jones doing the same at a burger place in the West End
Boris Johnson at Monument tube (nobody recognised him till he ruffled his hair)
Bobby Charlton having breakfast with the plebs rather than the Man U team in a hotel in Barcelona last year.

I can’t think of any more right now. I’m sure there are others but I'm an old b*stard and my memory isn’t what it was.

I only ever seem to see 'celebs' (I mean that in the loosest sense) in my local Sainsburys.

Recently saw Lee Ryan of Blue with his girlfriend. He's taller than I imagined.
Pat Butcher from Eastenders gets in there from time to time. Looks no different in 'real life'
Chief Superintendant Brownlow of The Bill - remember him?

I lived in Chichester for some years and saw, in no particular order:

A rather hen-pecked looking Jack Dee, wife and kids in tow. He's not, contrary to popular belief, a circus dwarf.

Patricia Routeledge when I was pissed up; she was distinctly unimpressed with my bellowing "it's the Bucket woman!" My brother (who used to do odd jobs/building sets at the theatre) confirmed to me that she is a miserable, conceited old hen.

Nicholas Lyndhurst, out riding my bike when I was a lot younger, wherupon I shouted: "Oi Rodney, you plonker" - If looks could kill...

Graeme Souness at Manchester airport, not long after he was sacked as Barcode's manager. Bigger than he looks on telly. He had a face like thunder and the sort of purple nose that would make Fergie jealous.

This morning, James Dean Bradfield from the Manic Street Preachers was in the queue for a coffee in Cafe Nero in Chiswick, wearing a Cardiff Blues hat. Then, this afternoon, the gay fella, Sean, from Corrie, walked past me on Wardour Street.

Last week, I saw Chris Cornell at the Sheperds Bush Empire.

Beforehand, myself, mate and brother went for a bite to eat and a stroll through the new Westfield shopping centre in White City (which is rather plush by the way).

Anyway, we walked past Jenny Powell who used to do Wheel of Fortune.

I know she had a baby recently(ish) and may have slimmed down a lot after - but she desperately needs a ****ing good meal.

She may appear to seem very slim, but she just didn't look well with it.
