Little things that irritate you

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

As someone who does love the game, I do agree 100%, they are boring c****.

My FD is the prime example, we had a wash up meeting with auditors, usually takes a few hours, took 6 as he kept talking about ****ing golf!

Wearing my sun glasses into work and leaving my normal glasses on the train

It didn't help that Ambelio Great Anglia were well cocked up this morning and I got kicked off of the train at Gidea Park

This is not a new phenomenon, if someone lives in a not so nice area that borders a nicer one then they "push the boundary". Estate agents do it when marketing a house. Some you can understand, especially if the next street, others are taking the piss.

When we were building command and control systems for emergency services dispatch it was a big concern to make sure the gazetteer could deal with it, you don't want the user (or system) hunting for a road in the wrong town and wasting time.

^^^^ It depends on whether you're buying or selling.

If you're buying it's Southall, if you're selling it's Greenford borders.

My new neighbours, storing all their garden crap in the alleyway, and leaving their sacks out in the alley for the foxes to rip up and leave rubbish strewn across my front garden.

I'm waiting for them to put 2 and 2 together and realise they need to buy a dustbin.

I kept blaming the foxes for tearing the bin bags up, but I was up really early one morning and caught birds doing it, crows, magpies and seagulls having a field day with them,
I find if you have to put them out the night before just spray a couple of squirts of kitchen cleaner spray stuff on the bag, it deters most animals

Indeed, annoying & potentially dangerous. Its about time TFL made some kind of posters / window stickers etc advising people to take the bloody things off

Had a proper stand up row with some dick who kept bumping into me with his backpack. It was huge and this **** kept turning round and turning back again to the point where I could draw no other conclusion that he was doing it on purpose. Had a blazing row with him to the effect of "take the ****ing thing off or get off the train" and he had a go at me for being a moody intolerrant git. That's probably the closest I've come to smacking someone on a train in rush hour.

The old **** on our road who parks his car outside his house to stop others parking there despite having the room to park two cars in his drive.

Selfish ****
