^ I thought it was just me squatski. Half of the text at the top appears halfway down the page sometimes for a good minutes. Obscures the first couple of posts.

I find that if you move your mouse over the 'Forum' option at the very top it takes the text away.

The stupid cordless phone in my house. You get a call on it and it only rings for 3 rings before going into messages and you can't adjust the length. When it rings I dash out to the hall table where the phone is supposed to be but it has been left in some other room cos someone never put it back on the base. Here's the best bit,... the ringing is coming from the base NOT from the hand set so we have no way of finding the hand set even if it's a foot away from you cos it doesn't bloody ring, it's only the base in the hall that rings ffs who thought up this crap.

A kid you not, a ****ing long, thin bread board.
What the suffering **** is all that about?
Has anyone on here ever eaten their dinner off of a bread board at home? Around a friend's house? So why do restaurants do it? What's wrong with plates all of a sudden? I only want a burger and some chips. Wimpy do it on plates. McDonald's do it in a brown bag. Why do restaurants feel the need to ponse it up?
I've noticed this aswell. Stayed at the Four Seasons in Dublin once and ordered a cheese toastie, or whatever their ponsey name for it was with chips. It came out on a bread board. A cheese toastie! To be fair though, it was the nicest cheese toastie I have ever had!

Style over substance, I think you'd call it When I go for something to eat, I want substance first and foremost. I'd rather have something that tastes great, but doesn't look all that, than something that leaves you unsatisfied I don't want to marvel at their poncy artistic nature, or their presentation skills. If I wanted that, I'd go and hang out in a florists...
