Our neighbours had their house broken into over the weekend and had things stolen.

Walking home earlier I found a ring and took it round. It turned out to be his wedding ring and he was so happy to see it that he started crying.

I was bending over cleaning out the fire grate earlier with a bit of a builders bum and my 3 year old comes in to the room and says 'Daddy, your arse is hanging out'.

I couldn't help but smile, and have no idea where he has heard that phrase before.

It's Radio 3.... but the basic cut of Edwins jib could apply to any radio station you choose.

^^^ I know how Edwin feels, I find myself muttering the same to my radio at times.

At the moment I'm smiling as we have just booked another holiday for next year, so we now have a week near Aviemore in June and a fortnight in Tenerife in September plus our caravan at Hayling Island to get away to whenever we want to. A great way to get through the winter I find is looking forward to your holidays that you have booked.

You haven't followed Pinky's advice not to book anything until the European fixtures are released ?

With you there RARS. I came back from Eire the other day to an empty fridge - I went and got a Vegetable chow mien and soy "bricks." I am a sucker for anything new on a menu! I gave it a go - and was well happy. Bricks = soaked soy in red wine and garlic sauce, fried till crisp and served with infused al dente mange tout.

Filth - but tasty filth.

Training hard this week to compensate :)

Believe it or not that did cross my mind when booking the holiday, I then got all superstitious and thought if I don't book it I may jinx our chances. So when you lot are travelling to the far ends of the Ukraine and I am stuck in Tenerife please appreciate my sacrifice.

Going up the tube escalators a sort in front of me in a short skirt was showing the tops of her stockings as she stepped off at the top.

Sitting in a queue of traffic, the car in front overtakes a bus that is front of him, cos he thinks its stopping to pick up passengers only to find there is a long queue in front of him too, and the driver in front of me is now blocking the other side of the road aswell now! :)

Walking past a queue of traffic on the way to work and not having spent 10 minutes previously de-icing the car. Then getting into a cold office but being nicely warm having had a good walk in for 10 mins ... a great start to the day.

Had a tutor the other day called Nigel who made a joke about going on a date with his daughter.

Turns out he's from Norwich and supports Palace. Made me giggle.
