Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Edit - our daughter's reaction when we told her she's getting a brother or sister.
Had our scan yesterday, all in order, my (4yo) son's reaction was priceless - his face lit up and he immediately started asking practical questions (where will it sleep, do we have to take it on holiday, will we need to get a bigger car?). This morning as soon as he woke up he asked my missus whether the baby had arrived - so sweet.

My little boy asked me earlier why I had stopped singing the Payet song.

I just told him that we don't like Payet anymore.

He then asked if he could still sing about Awon Cwesswell.

Mine is priceless, he really is a mini version of me (and this may sound soppy but he's fast becoming my best mate).

The Mrs was ill last night, took herself off to bed at about half 7. Just had peace and quiet for a few hours, but it was pure bliss.

Being told 'unofficially' by my manager that I've got the promotion I went for as assistant garage supervisor. First rung on the management ladder at a nice smaller garage, ideal for cutting my teeth on.

Just watching Sutton beat Leeds in the FA Cup and all the Sutton players having selfies with the fans. Just how it should be!
