Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Went for a meal in a boozer. Asked for sausage and mash and paid. Turns out they're right out of S&M so opted for the more expensive ribeye steak. Had me meal and went to the bar to pay the diff; "Don't worry, that's on us" ....result!

The fact that 'Little things that irritate you' is seven times longer than 'Little things in life that make you smile'.

Miserable lot.

Lewish, nice one

My magpie came back this morning, same thing, sitting about 2 metres away from me, being all inquisitive and bogging me out, this time though, I grabbed him/her and shat on their head.

In truth, I would have been justified to, but it done the same, turned around after a bit, showed me it's arse and shat on my furniture again, then flew off.

What sort of boozer offers S&M? If you go there as a group do you have to have a whip round?

Booked a week's break at a writer's retreat in idyllic surroundings. Have pre-ordered some very fine tipple to take along.

My lad, has been home sick this week, and has been watching some of my old DVD's (no, not those ones!)

Yesterday he had been watching the 1980 Cup Final, and his comment to me when I got in, was "Dad, why did all the players look the same in 1980"

What he meant of course, was that here were no foreign players in our team :)

No, but quite a few double entendre threads have vanished. I suspect the two are somehow connected.

I am not sure the mass deletion of threads and bans was an invitation to start discussing the issue on here.

Let's move on.
