My wife's version of this is actually quite comical.davids cross wrote:The word ............."stuff"...............used as a noun.
As used in ..."we did stuff".........we went out and played football and stuff.
I like it because it doesn't ponce around the dictionary looking to be specific.......or arty or farty or particular.
It's just stuff......
As a Northants lass, she pronounces it Stoof (rhyming with poof0.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
I have my little 'un of school today as he's a little bit poorly. He's currently playing with his plastic animal toys and he came in to me and we just had the following conversation:
"What are these? (Pointing to an Octopus' tentacles on a toy).
Me: "They are tentacles"
"I've got them haven't I?
Me: "Have you?"
"Yes, they are underneath my willy aren't they?"
ME: " No, they are testicles..."

The moment when the stunningly gorgeous Eastern European Dental Hygienist bird rests her rock hard funbags on your forehead. Then makes sure she keeps them in contact when moving around. Then gives you a really filthy "Take me up the arse" look after the appointment.

Missed the football so tried consoling myself with a roast dinner in the Leytonstone Wetherspoons which came in handy because as my boots are wearing a bit thin on the sole, the roast beef that they served up would have patched them up nicely it was SO ****ing TOUGH!!!!
Then going home and trying to order a new Kawasaki Vulcan clutch cable online but ended up buying a Wurzel’s t-shirt instead.
Yesterday was not a good day

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
We've just had someone come into the bank I work for with a load of burned up notes, about 2 grands worth. He doesn't have a bank account but he sometimes pays his rent money into this particular branch so he thought he'd enquire within as to what he should do with the cash.
It turns out that to save his girlfriend from finding it and spending it he decided to hide it in his oven under a baking tray. He forget it was there and put some pasties in the oven for lunch.
I'm in awe of his retardation.
