Leaving the car at home and cycling into work today. Bloody lovely ride along the Thames and will dodge the Flower Show traffic going home. Also get to leer at office crumpet wearing skirts that barely cover their modesty. Their arses and tits, too.

The thunderstorm last night, just stood in the garden for about an hour listening and looking at the sky as it lit up. Natures power at its finest. Had to leg it in when golf ball sized hail stones started falling , ouch!

Last night, my beautiful lady was around mine when I got home, she was watching something on Netflix, when she said "why an earth am I watching "forget name, but it's a sexy/soft porn film) on there after the loving she gave me at the weekend" so she jumped me again to make sure I was getting even more.

I felt it was not my place to tell her that it wasn't me watching said film, but obviously my son :D

Maybe it should annoy me, but today I heard an American tell his son that The Queen lived in parliament. Made me laugh to myself. :)

The feeling of walking to Upton Park, watching the game and walking back up Green St after a month or so off... going to miss it after this season (not going to miss the ridiculous queue up Queens Rd though!!)

Mate loves honking his car horn when its his turn to do the Pool car run, even when i have asked him:

"Can you just give me a minute FFS instead of.."
"-you should be ****ing waiting outside!" - I do mostly but his time estimation is atrocious, his 2 minutes can be 15-35 minutes.

And it is never just 'honk honk' either and then wait, he'll go 'honk-honk-honk!' ..[10 seconds later] 'honk-honk.. HONK!' and thinks nothing of it. I have never used my horn when waiting.

Months pass and picking him up a while back i had to phone him to come out and he said:

"i was waving in the front window, could you not see me?"
"No, your drive is quite long and the sun was in the window,"

So yesterday he wasn't there so i left my hand on the horn for about 20-30 seconds, he was waving in the window, flickering his blinds open and shut, opening the front door. :D

Not a surprise, what an absolute ****hole (and that's not just for their football team).

Went to see some friends who are over in the UK from Chicago yesterday. His sister had a bit of an afternoon party for all his old pals who all turned up with their kids (ages ranging from 13-17) Whilst all us olds were having a few ales in the garden, all the kids were indoors ....could hear a lot of mirth and chat so went in to check on them, fully expecting them to be crowded round watching something ont tinterweb and they are there playing cards and doing magic tricks ...without a phone/tablet/game console in sight. They were having a whale of a time without the need for technology - lovely to see.

In the garden yesterday my son was in and out the paddling pool, sand pit, getting me with water guns and munching bbq meats. Sunny weekends are great.

Also took him to West ham Thursday (first game) was getting involved which got my quite emotional. He is desperate to go again which I'm delighted about! Was pretty annoyed we couldn't see herbie the bear though as I was trying to explain we can't go down from the west stand upper....

Extremely fugly people that know, without hesitation, that they are actually damned f*cking hot, regardless of the evidence to the contrary

Also, flying kites on Cornish beaches in the sunshine with my daughter and sister's kids. I love kites, me.

I emptied my back with such ferocity today that I felt I could see round corners, and time had slowed down. An hour later, I set an all-time PB for 10km. Coincidence? I think not.

I can't work out whether you mean "back passage" or "sack".

To empty one's back is a euphemism to describe the process of crimping off a length of dirty spine.
