Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

From today's 'graph:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tennis/2016/ ... of-scisso/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

“I thought, ‘OK, what’s more important now? My hair, which I can let grow, or the match? I thought, ‘OK, I’ve got to go for it right now’, and that’s it.”

Off to a party on Saturday. It starts at 10pm - set to go on 'til 4am. I'm 50. Image

When I was 20, yes. But 50? 4am is when I wake up for my ageing, failing prostate piss.

Finally getting my visa through for Oz, so at the grand old age of 52 I'm packing my bags to start a new life in Sydney.

I leave on the 9th of November, just time enough to say a few goodbyes.

Go me! (Literally).

Helping my daughter with her homework, which is a project about islands. She's doing Bali (wife lived there for a while) and she just asked what she could draw to represent the increasing Muslim population. Quite a few things sprung to mind before I thought the better of suggesting them, and advised that just a text description would suffice.

Best of luck Jennings - don't be a stranger ... we need our fill of tales about skirmishes with black-widows, bull sharks, blueys and the like!

Where are you gonna be in Sydney and what are you doing? A great city.
