Where are you going with this? 92% of all UK business don't even trade with the EU .. UK Office of National Statistics ... so what?
The CBI is recognized as representing UK big business ... or do you have a better source?
I'm merely pointing out that your statement was factually incorrect.
The CBI doesn't speak for UK business, it speaks for a few UK businesses. I've quoted the number.

Business want the basics of a deal done, they don't want two more years of uncertainty ... if you don't agree with that fair enough, but that is the position put forward by the CBI on behalf of it's members ...
Which as I have pointed out with the facts, represent a relatively small number of the UK's total businesses.

As I said if you have a more credible source I would be happy to read their information .....
I've simply fact checked your post . By all means post your opinion - but let's not disguise it as a factual statement.
You even, by quoting the number of businesses that don't trade with the EU confirm precisely why the CBI only speaks for some businesses not UK business .
The vast majority of UK businesses are small mom and pop type enterprises, and are not spoken for by the CBI, the overwhelming majority of them probably wouldn't even know what the CBI is.
Now, if you are talking big businesses, your typical multi national, your well known high street chain, the businesses most people have heard of, sure the CBI speaks for some of them, and by and large what most of them would want is stability, certainty, and a sense of where the whole thing is heading, but that sure as **** ain't Sandra's hairdressers on the high street.
If you are following the Carlos Goshn story at all the distinction is important.
