Respect your opinion and that's what football is about and Ok, so I was being a bit dramatic because it's been quite emotional losing to spuds so heavilly but I do still believe the three main points in my post.
Carlton cole works very hard but is simply not good enough (in first touch or all round game) to lead the line if we want to be a top half side. Bellamy is likely to be injured quite often because he always has been and I believe most strikers with that much pace have hamstring strans a few times in a season.
We don't seem to have enough creativity coming from the midfield - it's workmanlike. I think we miss Matty Etherington loads when he is out. IMO, If most people at the games were offered a benayoun type option on the bench they'd be singing for him all game long.
Some of curbs signings have been poor by their performances on the pitch - you could make that case about davenport, quashie, lbm, camara and I certainly wouldn't lose that much sleep if any of those players left the club but I honestly believe given the noises coming out of the club - training ground cancelled, stadium delayed, no wage rises,no spending in the january transfer window it all adds up to a chairman either willing to invest or willing to let the manager spend money. I don't understand why all of the criticism is aimed at curbs when he said that his mission was to keep us up and then finish mid-table following season.
Would be interested to know why you think my comments are nonsense?
PS, I agree that GaryBreen is the worst ever player to pull on a hammers shirt
