well at least Rob Green is an England International ("headed it past England goalkeeper Rob Green" don't want to tell the lad Green is England SIXTH choice).

or the fact that they say that their standard in 1st division and that "West ham were one step up from us" ads league 1 matey boy is TWO steps down form the BPL.

poor lad.

he KNEW that his relatives in Liverpool were excited ~ wonder how many of them follwed the minute by minute text messages as it wasn't on the telly...

Went on YouTube to look for the goals, but instead came across this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0atjiNzkaMo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That is certainly not a brawl. It looks like a couple of girly punches are thrown then the West Ham fans are trying to get out of there. I totally agree Duxbury here, absolute nothing story, blown out of proportion by gloating fans and headline makers. Grow the **** up.

All the main boys were at the other end hanging up the ICF flag all had to be over 45.
Most of those 12 were yanks who saw to much Green St, who wants to get nicked 3000 miles away?
Crew fans what a bunch of mugs with those f ing drums.

Absolutly amatuer and embarassing support for the Crew. The stadium was empty and you still couldn't hear their support unless they were using a drum or air horn. Being that they call themselves the Hudson Street Hooligans they clearly have a skewed concept of what fan support should be. Throwing the streamers was pathetic and I'm shocked MLS allows it to happen. Overall a good showing by West Ham and 99% of West Ham's fans, I had a great time.

Hi Bobby, I'm back at the doubletree. It's much nicer than the last hotel I spent 40+ hours in. Had a good time this weekend, saw my mugshot on the 11 o'clock news tonight while in jail. Kinda funny when everyone there watching turned an looked at me when they saw it. Can't wait for the England trip. Sure everyone on here who hates me and thinks my live revolves around Green Street will love it when I come across the pond.

Have fun in Toronto. Gotta rent a car at 8am to drive back to Philly.

Got back last night,had a great weekend. Good showing by the West Ham faithful. Was personally suprised by the large contingent of American fans we had.
Although some of them were a bit lairy after a few beers and kept up singing 'let's go ****ing mental' which made me cringe every time I heard it,most were like us and had travelled hundreds of miles to support the team in the correct manner,so fair play to them.
Good to meet you Bobby,look forward to seeing some of the pics.

I went to the game which was my first proper West Ham game and I can only say that the tried and true West Ham supporters were all well over 40 and wearing Dagenham Motors shirts. I am American but I have no GSH fantasies which it seemed like many other American supporters there had. I will say that hearing forever blowing bubbles come from the far side of the pitch as I saw the players come out of the tunnel was something. I was situated roughly halfway between the West Ham and Crew contingent and although the Crew supporters in the corner had nothing intelligent to say, they simply never stopped chanting the entire match. They were loud the entire 90 minutes. In terms of sheer loudness and energy they were superior and it pains me to say that but I only report what I see and hear. Faubert's runs down the right flank were brilliant and his crosses in the first half were always threatening, and I can only see that spark he provides helping this team out. It was also nice to see some less heralded youth get time including Widdowson who certainly impressed for a full 90 minutes. Parker, Noble, and Ashton put on solid performances. Anton looked lost as did Lucas Neill, so the defense needs some sorting out, but all in all an enjoyable afternoon for me.

We had a great time with all the players signing autographs, the kids were sky high still peeling them down from the ceiling, the only player with a chip on his shoulder was you guest it (Boa Morte) :thdn:
