Gotta say scott parker was a true gent, very unasuming and quite laid back really.
Worring (of sorts) observation, was some (if not most) of the young ones, were holding loui vitton clutch bags on their way back to the coach after the game !! I suppose it is one of those bling thing's indemic in today's game for all pro's

Behrami's head looks like it's been photoshopped on in all of the pictures of him. Did anyone see him with their own eyes? Did we really sign him? I'm not gonna turn up for the Wigan game and it's really Carr with a mask on am I?

Thoroughly enjoyable evening ... good weather... good crowd... good footie.

The team ...

Behrami and Faubert ... please let this be a sign of things to come ... based on this game ... Neill should be nowhere near the left or right hand side! ... Behrami .. got stuck in .. got forward ... won a ball or two in the air .. played a brilliant low cross at the start of the second half that everybody in a claret and blue shirt knew should have been put in the back of the net.

Bellamy .. fantastic match ... one of my favourite players anyway .. .im surprised to not see any comments about his link up play with faubert... thought they were brilliant together ... the first goal came from their passing ... based on this i could definitely see them two in a top three together... perhaps then behrami in a right sided midfield position and neill at right back?

Noble ... as much as id love to see him make it at west ham ... and im fully aware hes still young ... he needs to grow up and mature as a footballer ... making crunching tackles when they werent neccessary .. risking injuring himself more than anything .. always rushing. Wasnt impressed... Parker on the other hand showed all the experience and class on the ball that he needed .. and always seemed to win the tackle.

Uspon good to see him back .. and had hoped for a bit more support for Anton .. they are our first choice CB pairing.

Reid isnt worth commenting on .. .seems pointless playing him every pre season knowing full well he wont get in the premier league team.

Banter with Green, the highlight of the night .. great to see a player acknowledge the crowd so much too! Keep it up robbo!
