Been the game tonight and i thought we were great, never felt threatened but never looked like threatening. A fair 0-0 imo.

defence very solid. not a great all round performance though, Carlton, faubert, and boa morte........simply bobbins. you could of played anyone in their positions and they would have been more of a threat.......can zola start against spuds?

You can kind of put up with a big striker who can't hit a cows arse with a banjo for a while if he puts the effort in and makes a nuisance of himself, not giving centre backs free headers, closing down etc. That lazy b*stard plank tonight sprinted just once and bottled out of every header. Tristan must be absolutely f*cked if he can't get on for the last ten minutes ahead of that.

I really thought Tristan was going to come on and score the winner.
As said above. It does make me wonder how ****/unfit Tristan is if he cant even get 10 minutes.

Great point. 3 clean sheets in a row and we could even have nicked it. Defence is looking much better and I think the goals will come (hopefully againt that clown the Spuds have in goal). We worked our socks off and I nearly pissed myself when "'Stevie" missed his kick. Wonder what Phil Thompson thought of that.

God result though. I'd have taken a draw before the game. Bellamy was unlucky....

A very good point.
Shame we can't get Deano out there because Carlton Cole is so frustrating. Boa Morte again missed a golden opportunity. Let's hope both are gone in January. It's not fair on the other players who are battling their b*llocks off.

Cracking result tonight 0-0 at Anfield.
No queston we had the best clear cut chances.Coles header in 2nd half & Boa-morte right at the death we could have nicked it.
Ashton is a massive miss for us at the moment & only criticism is we need someone in january that can stick the ball in the back of the net.
Defence looks sorted.Collins/Upson getting a great partnership there.Bongo & Neill had good games tonight apart from the 36 hand balls.
Only weak link in the side i can see is Faubert who is worse than shocking. What actually can he do?He runs & thats about it...corners,crosses,defending he's p*ss poor.
Defo crying out for a creative midfielder & maybe if Yossi/similar player up for grabs bring them in.
Anyway great result & encouraging signs.
*Anyone hear the after match interviews with Bellemy & Upson. What did the interviewer say to Upson..something like 'So will you be leaving in January?' WTF??

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham United : Match Thread
Well f*** a duck who would have thought after all that time without a clean sheet we would then have three in a row!!
Would have been made up with a point before the game so i'll definately take that now!
Now onto the Jewish mob...........
