Liverpool 0 West Ham Utd 0 (01/12/08)
Hmmm...going to be a tough game this one. Hopefully Zola can put out the same team that started todays match and we might pick up a point providing our back four are on top of their game again. I don't think we'll get too many chances to score and given that our record is pretty poor at Anfield I think a 1-1 draw would be an excellent result.

Same again please, barman. Two banks of four, another immense performance from Upson and Ginge and we could be in with a chance of a point. If Fulham can hold them to 0-0 ....

Last win at Anfield was in September 1963 with Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters scoring in a 2-1 win.

Anyone got Woy Hodgson's phone number?...
I'd definitely take a 0-0 from this.

After today, I feel the confidence is coming back slowly, so let's hope that continues at Anfield. For me, the performance is as important as the result. If we can get a point then great, but we need to put in a strong performance even if we come away with nothing. Again, 4-5-1 for me and try to hit them on the counter.

Just forget it. Pointless match. We will lose. End of story.

but what if he plays tomkins collison and sears from the start, surely we can then win 5-0?Scrambled Egg wrote:Just forget it. Pointless match. We will lose. End of story.

The late David Bickles played in that team my ex-PE teacher and i've got to say I couldn't stand him and I didn't even know that he had played for West Ham all those years ago until long after i'd left school.simon hammer wrote:

As othershave said, a draw would be a great result.
Although I would love to see us get all the points up there once in my lifetime, its only been 41 years

Mullins Behrami and Parker to battle whilst Bellamy and Faubert have to be quick on the counter.
Cole would also have to be the key man.
