Seems a better player when he's floating around just outside the box, I'm not keen on him wide. He finds good positions on the edge of the area.Memorial Ground wrote: Strange. I was impressed with Stanislas both halves.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Middlesbrough: match thread
Junior Stanislas was really impressive for me today, he wanted the ball and looked a threat everytime he got on the ball.
The kid will be our Cristano Ronaldo type of player given time.
LBM's workrate was fantastic, shame about his passing.
Collison was another one that caught my eye, he really is a total midfielder.
Who else er.. the back four was solid , Neill the most, Spector surprised me today, not as dodgy as usual.
Disappointed that Savio didnt come on, I didnt really wanna see DDM and Tristan do their losing the ball and falling over tricks.

You can't expect Stanislas to run full pelt for 90 mins, the amount of running he was doing up front must of knacked him out a bit.

Impressed with Stanislas and Boa Morte. Cracking atmosphere. Tuncay had a good game for them hope we go for him. Really enjoyed it when Boa Morte song was ringing around the stadium. Found it funny that CL was singing Zola give us a wave and he didnt then they sang the Zola song and he waved
Good way to end the season ona win. Onwards and upwards.
Edit: We are first on MOTD

Don't worry - our highlights lasted about 90 seconds...Bill Grant wrote:f***ing typical. The first time we're on MoTD this season and I tune in late and miss it.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Middlesbrough: match thread
Did anyone not consider it strange that Zola and Clarke did not do the end of season lap of the pitch with the team?

Re: West Ham Utd vs Middlesbrough: match thread
Bit harsh, considering his pass to put Ilunga through for our first goal was sublime.RWJ wrote: LBM's workrate was fantastic, shame about his passing.
