Caught the last 20 minutes or so and thought we looked half way decent in a pretty dull game.

For some reason (poor internet stream perhaps), when I saw Josh Payne dive in for his yellow, I thought 'who is that French bloke?' No idea why, he wasn't wearing a string of onions around his neck but he looked really French. Odd.

Anyway, least the boys and girls out there will have something to celebrate this evening.

Was a good header from Gabbidon. Good to see us score from a set piece too.

But we looked poor first half and really only came into the game when the fitness of the other team really dropped.

We wont get that in the Premier League. We need some new players for sure.

Good header and good delivery but probably wouldn't have that much space in most premier league games.

Not saying we dont need an experienced striker or 2. Just Hines looked great when he come on :crest:

Anyone still watching the iraqgoals channel? They're showing the game where we drew with Man Utd and handed Blackburn the title. Really brings back memories.

If you watch the replay Gabbidon actually made the space for himself with a good push off the player. He is strong, looked good on defence and most impressively looked fit and lasted 90 minutes. Definately the major positive to come out of the tour!

Saw an hour. Dyer looked lively and was pick of the bunch, the defenders were sound as well.

Jiminez looks lightweight and reminded me of Di Michele

I really dont rate Noble he gives the ball away so much.

Payne's tackle near the end was awful

Exactly how I saw it.

With a mention for Hines. looked electric when he came on. Dyer is forgotton by alot of people and could be a massive pleyer for us this season as long as he dont get $@*&**!^$$

No because he made a negative comparison with DDM of a new player who has played 2 games for us, then called someone negative for saying Gabbs wouldn't get the time or space in the prem.

i thought hines looked lively and along with junior and savio gave us that bit of spark.now if we can get rid of ashton and buy two proven strikers along with these kids then i am alot happier.please let it happen.as said last 20 mins we played alot better.

Jiminez played a couple of clever little through balls in the first half.

Dyer, Gabbidon and Hines

We looked fresher, fitter than on Wednesday.
