Going for a draw on this one, and have a feeling our gole will be scored late on by Nouble.

Can't wait I am counting the days.
Should be a great atmosphere until we go 1-0 up.

I have not been to Wolves since the early 80's & understand that finding a boozer is going to be a problem.

I personally think we will pass them of the pitch & our quality will be far to superior for them to handle. A comfortable 2-0 win

As a natural-born pessimist, I think it will a very difficult game. It always is against sides who are playing their first home game back up in the prem and I wonder about how our attack will line up. Think this game will give us a view of what Zola will try and do this season with the team we have.

Reckon Spector will play and for Jiminez to make his debut.

Green
Spector Upson Tomka Ilunga
Dyer Noble Parker Collison
Jiminez
Cole

I expect we'll draw or lose this one though but I have no real idea what to expect this season

Thinking about it, maybe Spector won't be involved as he is playing in the US and may be a bit jet lagged.

Same starting line up as Napoli and a 1-1 draw I reckon.
I predict a lot of huffing and puffing from us with our goal coming from a set piece.

Hopefully we'll bring in a new player who'll be able to play at least some part.

WOLVES TEAM (playing tonight): Hennessey, Foley, Stearman, Craddock, Ward, Edwards, Henry, Milijaš, Ebanks-Blake, Keogh, Jarvis. SUBS: Hahnemann, Ikeme, Friend, Zubar, Elokobi, Collins, Hill, Halford, Surman, Jones, Vokes, Doyle.

Never heard of about 80% of them.

This one is there to be won - getting slightly more confident as the game approaches. Today's team would beat this mob methinks.

Have to disagree with you there regarding Zavon. The team has been playing the whole pre season with one target man (Cole). They're used to this system.

I also don't think he's ready to start premiership games.. How many games has he played in the league? 2?
Best off giving him a few mins here and there IMO

Maybe your right just thought that he is a quick player who could unsettle the wolves defence we are looking too static at the moment too much of the long ball game it was better today though passing seems to improved over pre season just think we need a bit of speed up front

I get where you're coming from but I also think it's important not to go down to an early goal. I think Zavon would do a lot better coming on late dealing with defences that are still a bit rusty.

One nil Wolves.

We won't find our feet for a few matches, I'm beginning to think.

If he was planning on starting Specs at RB I would have imagined he would have started today no?

Faubert looked good today.

My instincts tell me this is not going to be a goal fest - Wolves will be keen to put up a good fight in their return to the Prem, but we have a great defense which should be able to contain them - on the flip side, our one striker running his arse off while the midfielders pass it around system will find it tough to break down a team who are aiming to shut up shop.

On that basis, 3-2 to West Ham.
