Why do Chelsea always, always do that right at the end Headbanger I suppose the 27 minutes stoppage time helped on this occasion.

i agree with most of original post, apart from;
jimenez 6, showed a few good runs and passes, but really didn't contribute enough for me and seemed to go missing a little.
parker, 6, not his best game, his longer range passing needs to improve, warmed up a bit more in second half, just lacked a bit today, still it is early doors.
collins, 6, very solid in the air, did get turned a few times, but unfortunately is one of his faults as a player, tends to get to tight to forwards, allowing them to roll him.

Thanks for the feedback guys, all about opinions eh!

I really would like to see Gabbs in for Collins next game though. I would prefer Tomkins as well TBH :?

Bit of a risk putting Gabbidon in just now. Personally, I'd wait until a game with not much on it where it doesn't matter too much if we lose and give him 90 minutes in that. Carling Cup tie is actually a perfect opportunity to do that.

Yeah, but that's out of eleven. So divide by eleven and multiply by ten for a percentage figure.

Fuppin hell!

Lawro sez

"Arsenal have talent in abundance with the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Cesc Fabregas and Eduardo, but they are lacking players with real power, which is a concern.

Arsene Wenger probably needs a little more time to work out how his team are going to play this season, so I think they will make a losing start at Goodison Park on Saturday"

Everton to win 2:1

Player Ratings

Big Russ wrote:
this is a great idea, maybe the main kumb site could put a star rating system (eg. Ajax or a simple Javascript one) for each player on the match reports section, or something? It's easy enough to do on blogs. So that all the kumb readers could have a bit of input.

Also probably a way of keeping a running total too, or you could just add em all up at the end of the season?

Anyway, here's mine:

Green - 8, flapped once but had a few superb stops and as usual kept us in the game. MOTM for me.
Faubert - 7, had a great attacking game and put in a couple of solid tackles too, on that sort of form the position could be his.
Upson - 7.5, solid defence and well-taken goal from the big man. Will be greatly missed if he ends up at city.
Collins - 6, seemed a bit off the pace of the match in places.
Illunga - 7, defended solidly and got in good attacking positions a few times.
Noble - 7.5, great goal and some good forward balls from the lad, was involved in the play a lot. Could have been MOTM.
Parker - 7, broke up the play well and got involved in the attack every so often too.
Collison - 6.5, was a bit quiet I thought.
Dyer - 7, a lot of movement and a couple of good chances. Looked the most likely to score for a lot of the game.
Jimenez - 7, good movement from jimi too, seems to be settling in quite nicely.
Cole - 7.5, great hold up play as usual from the big man, magnificent passing and movement. Seemed a bit goal-shy though.

Spector - 5, gave it away far too regularly, found myself tense every time he was near the ball
Stanislas - 7, did some good running and added a bit of an pacy attacking spark to the proceedings.

It's pretty simple, isn't it? Your totals are from eleven scores (for eleven players), so they're not giving a percentage. To get the percentage, you divide by the original sample and multiply by ten, no?

It has been a long time since I did maths tbf...

From my egg chasing days I seem to remember concussion was automatic 3 weeks (could be wrong though, I was usually concussed at the time).
