Bit early I know, but thought I would try my hand at starting a match thread (I cant do much worse!) I would play Spector for a more defensive right back, plus Kovac for help at defending set pieces. Gabbidon needs to play in my opinion. An ugly, battling win is needed. -----------------------------Green------------------------- Spector-----Gabbidon-------Upson-------Illunga ---------Behrami-------Parker--------Kovac ----Hines----------------------------------Stanislas -------------------------- Cole-----------------------------

You would drop Tomkins? Did you watch the game today? He was probably our best player and hasn't let the side down at all this season. I would go Green Spector Tomkins Upson ( He cant be that bad again) Illunga Parker Behrami Noble Collison (if fit) Cole and Nouble ( No point in selecting Franco (cause no fcuker knows where he is) Trecherous bastards these Mexicans, remember the Alamo!

Shirley this Franco fella is gonna be fit for this one, isn't he? We need something new in the side to get us scoring and creating from open play. If fit, Collison, Behrami and Franco all in for me.

In all honesty, Stoke will kick the **** out of Hines so i'd probably start with him on the bench. Would love to say 4-5-1 and attack on the break, but our midfielders can't attack so match them man for man and go 4-4-2.
My Team
Green Tomkins Gabbs Upson Illunga Behrami Noble Parker Collison/Jimenez Cole Diamanti

I ****ing wished I was today! It has got to the stage where Quashie might have to come in for his traditional once-every-three-seasons cameo and get the rest of the half-hearted f***ers to start playing

Would like to say play a solid 4-5-1. But with the schedule we have upcoming, we need points, plural no singular, so have to go for 4-4-2. Better have some height in midfield to help out on corners and throw ins so that means Kovac in and Parker out.

Of course I'm no racist. I was going to suggest him in place of Sofiane.

I agree. And I'm very confident about this match. Seriously. Stoke are tough opponents, but it's exactly the kind of game we need at the moment in that it is certainly winnable, and Stoke are good enough to give us a big boost if we can get the win.

GK. Green RB. Faubert CB. Tomkins CB. Gabbidon LB. Illunga RM. Behrami CM. Parker CM. Noble LM. Jimenez ST. Cole ST. Hines Dropped Upson to give him a wake up call and Diamanti too who I'm not convinced will turn up to a cold night in Stoke.
