Re: Stoke v West Ham: Match Thread
I think this marks the point where we are now officially in a spot of bother.
Re: Stoke v West Ham: Match Thread
Very interested to hear Zola's post match comments. Time to face the facts and tell it like it is.

Re: Stoke v West Ham: Match Thread
All teams seem to be picking up points.
We are in a battle now. At least we are scoring. But thats a cold comfort, as they have not won in two months, and have only picked up points against a crap Blackburn side, and a lucky point against Fulham.
Furthermore, unlike in 2006/2007 we dont have alternatives, and we will not be aflush with money in January. In fact, its likley we will lose players like Upson, and Parker to keep the club afloat.
The loss of James Collins has hit us hard in defence. He was the rock, which Tomkins isnt yet.

f***!
Drowning my sorrows tonight...dunno how I dealt with such West Ham-related disappointments as a kid without alcohol.
I'll be at the massacre of Upton Park next week though.

Re: Stoke v West Ham: Match Thread
The most worrying part is that we fielded almost the strongest side we're going to have available this year. There's no one to come in and sort it.

Re: Stoke v West Ham: Match Thread
work hard, play ok, cant really score, end up losing
same **** as usual.
mainy thanks to NOT bringing in a good quality striker, maybe we should sell 3 more defenders? no because we'd still not buy a striker.
and to lose to those dirty fouling northern c**** is just embarrassing. i hate losing to teams who use violence and bullying tactics.
f*** off west ham, you ruin all my weekends.
