Based on today's performances:

Green
Faubert Tomkins Upson Illunga
Behrami Parker Quashie Collison (if fit) (or Diamanti)
Cole Hines

My tongue was in my cheek but only slightly. I've seen him in one or two reserve games, he is match fit and could do a job. The heart of the team (such as it was) walked off with Parker and no one else really appeared to give a ****. I think Quashie might.

Having seen Kovac in recent weeks, and noted our recent tendency to capitulate defensively whilst lacking on field leadership and aggression perhaps it's time to set Kamiquashie loose.

With a bit of Z&C's masterly coaching - everyone says it reaches the parts other coaches cannot reach - perhaps there is a role for Nigel.

I got my ticket for this a few weeks ago, after todays game I can't say I am looking forward to this very much.

I'd be happy with a battling draw.

Won't be easy , and will be more a test of character than skill .

Quashie wouldn't be a bad call for this partcular match as he would at least run around and put a few of them on their arses .

However my team would be

Green
Illunga Tomkins Upson Gabbidon
Behrami Parker Noble Collison ( if fit)
Cole Hines

Bench
Kurucz
Faubert
Da Costa
Quashie
Nouble
Diamanti
Jiminez

Nouble on for Hines , and Quashie on for Parker on the hour .

4-4-2 , set our stall out and take a point .

Seeing as both teams score mostly from set pieces, we may as well give Spector and Kovac a recall for this one, so that we get some more height in the team.

(4-4-1-1 formation)
1. Green
2. Spector
3. Ilunga
4. Kovac
5. Tomkins
6. Upson
7. Behrami
8. Noble
9. Cole
10. Diamanti
11. Stanislas

I'd like us to get back to last seasons 4-4-1-1 formation. Instead of DDM we play Jiminez or Diamanti. i dont think we can afford to play them both right now as they are both still getting used to the premiership and need more time. Both together is a luxury we cant afford. One of them playing however is an improvement on DDM. Behrami back now will be a huge bonus and I will probably play stanislas on the left. He certainly has a knack for a goal or two
for me

Green
Faubert Tomkins Upson Ilunga
Behrami Noble Parker Stanislas
Jiminez
Cole

Diamanti to swop with Jiminez at some point and Collison to replace Stanislas when fit

this is the sort of match where we're gonna miss LBM...

Green
Faubert Tomkins Upson Ilunga
Behrami Parker Jimenez Stanislas
Cole Diamanti

should be alright.

Everyone seems to be missing the fact that:
a) Parker is suspended for the Stoke game &
b) Stoke are a tall and strong outfit to play against
So putting in our diddymen like Nobes & Jimmy, ain't gonna help when defending (which we need to do better lately)!

Green
Tomo Gabbi Upson Illunga

Behrami Kovac Collison Diamante

Carlton Nouble

As much as i cringed when someone mentioned Quashiemodo, he could do a job if Collison ain't fit. You gotta match stoke or you are always gonna leak those last minute winners!!!!

The only way we will win this game is if Diego Tristan plays.
