From the O/C:

"Guille Franco is also pushing for a start after another full week of training. The Mexican international was an unused substitute against Stoke."

It felt like he didn't come on, I'll give 'em that

With less than 48 hours till KO perhaps a few are waiting to see if there are any last minute hitches before naming their sides , but so far we have

29 selections

10 have picked Diamanti

13 have picked Jiminez

and only 2 have picked them both .

I have made a note of everyone who selected Diamanti .

I usually do a long battle cry for games against these arrogant hypocritical contemptable slags...but i really can't be asked at the mo.

We are not making the most of our small squad, tactically negative and are not playing to our full potential quality wise either...so i am expecting an afternoon of pure torture for myself.

I pre-apologise for my behavior towards everyone

We can beat them .We can beat them with the players at Zolas disposal .Arsenal are a good side , but they will leave holes at the back .

Blood, sweat and 4-4-2 will see us through , and maybe, just maybe a Noble or Collison goal to nick it .

And as somebody else has said - if we give maximum support to the team on the day , we could just help .

Why 4.15?

Post by sjb958 »

I can't see this mentioned anywhere: has anybody got any ideas why it is a 4.15 kickoff and not 4 as usual on a Sunday?

I'm not joking when I say my guess is so Sky have a short amount of time to discuss the Man Utd - Liverpool match after the whistle.

I suppose the follow up question is why does Liverpool v Man Utd kick off at 2pm unlike all Sky's other early Sunday games which kick off at 1.30pm?

One of my best memories of West Ham v Arsenal is the day Alan Pardew nearly chinned Arsene Wenger after you snatched a late winner. I was watching it in an East End Pub and the place went crazy at full time.

Arsenal are a vulnerable side and do lose Matches. If you keep it tight, try to quash the rhythm of their game and take your chances as they come up then a good result is possible. Arsenal will presumably be favorites - but I know West Ham can pull out a surprise.

Good luck.

Cant wait for Sunday and really have a good feeling about the game.

I fancy us to at least get a draw and maybe even shock a few and grab the win. Afterall that is almost the West Ham way. 8-)
