I nearly wet my aged knickers when Faubert took a tumble after barely moving the ball late on in the second half......

He just seemed to pop up everywhere, on the left of the box, the right, down the centre.....it was a wonderful performance and he got closer with every effort (apart from the Overhead kick attempt! )Chuck D wrote: He is young, and raw, and I would rather not be relying on teenagers, but he wants to commit defenders, and to shoot on sight.

Re: West Ham Utd v Aston Villa: match thread
My first opportunity to post since the game.
The 4-4-2 is alive and well at last!
Mark's Penalty will go into my mental "favourites" In the context of the importance and his recent form it was a stupendous kick!
The best of Fauber does not compare with the worst of Faubert, and I do not enjoy watching his efforts.
With the back four plus Noble Collison and Parker we are strong enough defensively to employ Diamante behind the front two.
With only one more substitution allowed it was understandable that Diamante/Jiminez weren't called on earlier.
Does deserve to be a full house tomorrow.

I would now like to divide the 3 points up that we received from this match as so............2 points for the Villa win and a point from the game v Everton.
Feel better now............good point yesterday..
