West Ham Utd 1 Everton 2 (08/11/09)
Thought I'd get this started while the adrenalin is still flowing, a win takes us above them - how things change eh!

I will expect nothing less than a win after the last two home performances. Come on West Ham you know it makes sense.

Everton, are one of the few games in a season that I never look forward to as we nearly always seem to lose to them regardless of weather it's a home or away game because of that and after tonight i'll be very happy with a point.

Re: West Ham Utd v Everton: match thread
Everton alway seem to cane us, between them and the FA cup thieves it's a Scouse thing. However, we've got a good chance at this one - their season is **** so far, our confidence is now up, so please before I die of old age West Ham, let's do them? I did say please...

We are due a win against these poxy c****, how many times have they rode their luck against us. I think we might carry this good result into the next match and do the bastards.
Re: West Ham Utd v Everton: match thread
Their big problem this season is losing Arteta. He is the one that makes things tick for them.
Yakubu is back now but having seen how we dealt with Carew, Heskey and Agbonlahor I am more confident that we can keep him and Saha/Fellaini quiet.

Arteta has had a major setback in his recovery, not that he stood any chance of facing us anyway.
The real silver cloud is that with CC out, Hines should start. Bearing in mind how many penalties Lucas Neill gave away against pace when playing for us, I sense a Noble hat trick in the offing

West Ham V Everton Match
Can’t see it anywhere else and I feeling lucky today and still buzzing after last night!
I’m going with
King Green
Faubert Costa Upson Spector
Behrami Noble Parker Collinson
Franco Hines
I think it will be a tough test but I think at home Everton are beatable and we will still be confident after the Villa game, I’m going with another 2-1 COYI!

In the nicest possible way may Benfica kick the ***** out of Everton tonight, especially Saha as he will score against us.

I'd better not get carried away on the back of our first ho me win of the season, but surely confidence will be much improved for this one. 3 more lovely points will be brilliant

Looking forward to this, we'll be full of confidence which is a good thing. What with Everton Playing Benfica tonight.
Never know Saha may get injured!
We keep getting done over by Everton, when we look the better side.
Going to be my first game of the season, so looking forward to it. Going on my own though which i've never done before!

Yes, I'd like to see Faubert in midfield. And Behrami played right back before at other clubs.

Re: West Ham Utd v Everton: match thread
Parker might be suspended after picking up another yellow card last night.
Can anyone confirm this one way or the other?
