head says 3-0 stoke
heart says 2-1 westham.
green
faubert tomkins(if fit) upson daperla
parker (c) noble/berhami
collison stanislas
franco cole
pace on the wings, stanaslas can hit a free kick, dont need diamanti, not the type of player 4 this game. noble as he is westham and feels the same way as us he'll have fight in him. parker to lift spirits good defending. CHARGE from the get go

Re: West Ham -v- Stoke City Match Thread
Right now I couldn't give a f***.
At least on a weekend I can get plastered and try and play with the misses' jubblies.
Now I have to call it a night and go in and face a bunch of plastic 'Big 4' supporters telling me how we'll go down and taking the piss before moving house on Thursday then putting the car in for a horrendous bill on Friday.
I await the pathetic excuses from Zola and the email telling me that the home kit has been reduced to a fiver or tickets for Stoke are now affordable.
And yet somehow I'll sit through it again for Stoke.
Nice one boys, it's the STH and the people who drag themselves there every week who are the really heart and soul of this club.

I seriously think this is the case. Even with Tony Carr in we would stand a better.Dyer's Leg wrote:I think I am past caring unless we get a new manager between now and then.
They need to have a new face in the dressing room who says 'I know half of you want to feck off to another team - I know half of you are useless bottlers - but it's in all of your interest to sort this out. This is what we will do. Work hard, keep it simple, go direct with two proper wide players (Stanislas and Faubert) who will whip it in to Cole and Franco. Anyone who is not up for this can feck off now.
Re: West Ham -v- Stoke City Match Thread
FFS we still have a fighting chance.
Relegation looks possible but not enivatable by any means yet.
We need a better set up, stop playing Kovac and Parker together, play with width (stanislas) bring back Da Costa and drop Diamante and CC to the bench.
we can get out of this...
oh and f*** Zola off.

Re: West Ham -v- Stoke City Match Thread
Have to go with franco after his performance tonight. I'd play da costa instead of tomkins (tomkins is probably injured anyway), da costa did remarkably well marking carew when we played villa at home, so hopefully he'll do well against 1 of stokes big lumps.
Goes without saying Parker in the centre, is collison going to be fit soon? From todays starting 11 I'd drop Cole, McCarthy, Tomkins, Kovac, put behrami in the centre with parker, and play collison. If collison isnt fit I'd stick with behrami out wide and play noble in the middle
