And only one goal in a match, again.

Not sure where to post this but Sears has 3 goals in the first half for the reserves

Such a shame that he's so prolific for the reserves but strangley cant seem to convert the form. But, he's still only 19, would be great if he could do itBLT319 wrote:Not sure where to post this but Sears has 3 goals in the first half for the reserves

I think this is his season. The 4-3-3 (or whatever) formation should suit him. If he doesn't manage to at least look the part this season I think he'll have to take a step down. I honestly believe, if he can get that first goal, he'll get a few. He looks the ultimate example of a confidence player to me.

So he's 20 then.
Sears gets his fourth.

Didn't he get a goal with practically his first touch in first team football?LeonRivers wrote:I think this is his season. The 4-3-3 (or whatever) formation should suit him. To be pedantic IIRC it was his second touch, the first being a saved shot and scoring on the rebound?Sambono5 wrote:

We won't mention his subsequent touches
Like most people I would be extremely happy to see him become a great striker and it is hard to explain why he is so prolific in the reserves and can't convert it to the first team.
