Not sure where to post this but Sears has 3 goals in the first half for the reserves

Such a shame that he's so prolific for the reserves but strangley cant seem to convert the form. But, he's still only 19, would be great if he could do it :thup:

I think this is his season. The 4-3-3 (or whatever) formation should suit him. If he doesn't manage to at least look the part this season I think he'll have to take a step down. I honestly believe, if he can get that first goal, he'll get a few. He looks the ultimate example of a confidence player to me.

To be pedantic IIRC it was his second touch, the first being a saved shot and scoring on the rebound?

We won't mention his subsequent touches :wink:

Like most people I would be extremely happy to see him become a great striker and it is hard to explain why he is so prolific in the reserves and can't convert it to the first team.
