Supposedly Olympiakos want to buy him.... Who I assume are big rivals with Panathanaikos... Maybe they are worried that their rivals will break his leg? Haha.

Shame if he does go - I'd like to keep him as a squad player, as he can cover midfield and defence...

COYI wrote:I wonder why Kovac is not even on the bench - Could we be selling him? I think if we were going to sell anyone from midfield this summer he would be my first choice (after Dyer of course, but that's never going to happen).

As for Dyer, hopefully he isn't injured, if he is, it's beyond a joke now.

 it was beyond a joke months ago lol.

"Pablo Barrera will join up with his new team-mates on Monday, ahead of the Wednesday trip to MK Dons."

- There would have been no point in him flying to Germany for the last few days. They could have teased us with a little, 'he may be joined by some new International signings', just to keep the KUMB faithful excited.

36min - Faubert and Boa Morte have swapped wings. Hitzlsperger just does a lovely feint in midfield to pass his opponent. Despite the conditions, he looks class.

35min - Parker, Hitzlsperger and Noble look a good midfield three. They are trying to play one-touch football whenever they get the chance.

....good bye Kovac.

Don't fancy Diamanti's chances much either..... isn't this supposed to be his formation?

GOAL

42min - GOAL! - Hitzlsperger scores with a low free-kick. Boa Morte touched it to him and Der Hammer did the rest. May have been a slight deflection.

42min - 'Well done Hitz' is heard and rightly so. The German midfielder has been a revelation since the moment he has arrived. His first goal was just reward for his positive play in all three pre-season matches.

42min - GOAL! - Hitzlsperger scores with a low free-kick from 18 yards. Boa Morte touched it to him and Der Hammer did the rest. May have been a slight deflection.

Hitz! :D I can see this guy being a proper west ham favourite!

Well, if Diamanti goes, it looks like we have a ready made replacement free-kick taker.

Another good sign from this match is the defence, in particular Da Costa, he sounds like a rock! I can see him being a first teamer next season.

It's probably KB! Text updates all sound a bit propaganda-ry and a little Escape to Victory-esque. I mean come on please who chants "Well done Hitz" at footy match. "Let's have another one old chap!"

Oi dont take the mic out of the commentary guy, it is a hard enough job as it is with a gun to your head.
