Hitz was a great player at Villa and as soon as he signed on the dotted line, he became a West Ham hero!! He gives a little more than Parker although they are similar players. The centre of the park for West Ham is looking really good for the season ahead!! Good football teams build from the back though and the defence this year is going to be really important for us. We need a couple more players in this area to be sure of a good season.

3 away wins on the spin , and Burton Albion on the agenda tomorrow . Bet they are ****ting themsleves . Well, perhaps when they leave the nightclub in a couple of hours . What with MK and Ipswich to come we could be on a 6 match winning run .

This has intrigued me for a while now. He usually gets up on the table in the Boleyn, does the airplane for "Seven German bombers" and with his mates, generally tries to get the songs going....does anyone know him? Is he on here? And yeah Ben, it does look like him...

I'm getting far too excited now. Ever the pre season optimist I'm going into overdrive this year. I know they're only friendlies but we are playing some half decent teams. Great stuff.

Burton Albion - if we beat them then perhaps there is indeed a new "West Ham way"

Just setting off . Will take some pics to make the lads in Austria jealous of a beautiful day in..............Burton .......kind of loses it's appeal at that point .
