PSTL,
Yes I expect it to be a very strong team. It is a first team friendly and the likes of Green, Parker, Behrami, Barrera, Piquionne and Upson are all 2 to 3 games behind their pre-season preparations. Expect them all to be involved.

It's on Saturday.

I'm sure we played them last pre-season?

What was the score then?

Cant remember but I remember Bellamy calling someone an Ipswich prostitute.

Read this and realised how excited I am about the Season restarting and decided to I'd see if there were any tickets left. What do you know? Just snapped up the last one!! :raver:

Sadly I'm missing the Bolton game but hoping to go Villa instead

Do you mean, we have already sold 4000 tickets for this match?

It would appear so. Just had a look at how Season ticket sales were going and it would appear from availability it's going pretty well. I'd have to guesstimate at around 70% upward of capacity sold.

2 years ago my bad...

A crowd of 17,000 fans witnessed a goal feast when the two sides last met in a warm-up match in 2008, with West Ham striker Dean Ashton scoring a hat-trick in the Hammers’ 5-3 victory

Ah , I see . Hard to tell these days , somone was digging out our youth team for losing to Burton Albion at the weekend on another thread .To be fair I was suprised the comment was from Jon - should have realised he wouldn't be so daft .

I say during all of pre season that we are either going to win the league, or getting relegated depending on how we do during the games.

Pre season means nothing unless you get players injured.

Agreed , largely kick abouts to get players back into the swing of things . I do like to see the condition the players are in upon return and have to say Mark Noble looked in absolutely perfect nick at Peterborough and In Germany . LBM also looks fit , and to see Dyer getting a run out was encouraging .

I can't do the Ipswich game , but that should give the clue as to the starting line up for Villa as I suspect they will offer stiffer resistence than Deportivo will in between .Unfortunately they are facing financial disaster , so may not have much of a team left .

I thought that was a double bluff fish attempt, I was quite impressed till I read on and realised it wasn't.

Sincerely, Dissapointed in Cornwall.
