Ok honestly can't see anything other than a loss by 2 goals+ but you never know.
Id probably go for:
------------------------------Green----------------------------
--------------Da Costa--Upson--Gabbidon------------
-Faubert--------------------------------------------Ilunga-
----------------------Parker--------Noble------------------
---Barrera-------------------------------------------Dyer--
--------------------------------Piq-----------------------------
Little kick up the arse for Cole, although the booing of him was stupid and shouldn't of happened. However i doubt Grant will try 5 at the back, although i think it might be the answer to our defensive frailties and also benefit the full backs especially against the better teams away from home, with Barrera and Dyer making us a danger on the break.
I think Grant will go with pretty much the same team as against Bolton though.

Think i'd play Kovac or Spector in defensive midfild for this one, I think we will lose, but we must not concede a load of goals or the confedence could be destroyed.

I'm not that confident I think Manure may get at least 1 , maybe 2 .Our defence won't keep a clean sheet .
6 looks ok for us though .

Why shouldn't we win 6-0 ? Wayne Rooney hasn't scored since March

Leave Cole on the bench would be stupid. more than stupid. Insane. I'd leave Upson out after his shocking performances in the past 2 games. Im a big fan of Reid. Shame Hitz isn't available yet, but, im gonna be nice and optimistic. Utd are notorious slow starters, and they havent faultered just yet, so 2-1 WHU.

We will lose...Michael Owen will score.
However i would like to see five at the back, though i think i would still have Cole upfront as i think he would be better than Piquionne on his own.

Ooh, in my bestest Graham Taylor voice: Do I not like that.Puff Daddy wrote:Wayne Rooney hasn't scored since March
If any team/player has a hoodoo/jinx/statistical monkey that they want off of their back, we seem to be the most obliging side in history.
I don't think it'll be a mullering, I think that we'll have a go precisely because we've got nothing on this one (it's the matches we SHOULD win where the doubts creep in; hence our perennial failure against notlob). So I think it'll "only" be 2-0, courtesy of a Rooney brace (thanks to the statistic above).

------------------ Green -----------------------
New RB - Da Costa - Upson - Ilunga
Dyer - Parker - Noble - Barrera
Piq - Cole
If we don't have a new RB then play Faubert, if Da Costa isn't fit replace with Gabbidon, if Upson is still out replace with TBH
Maybe play with 5 in midfield as its away form home but then I don't think we have a chance of scoring with Cole on his own upfront so I would start 4-4-2

Re: West Ham vs Man U match thread
Why would it be so insane to drop Cole, i dont think we can afford to play him and Piq away against Man U and Piq was clearly the better player at the weekend.Green's Hand wrote:

On Reid i would have picked him, but i really have to wonder what he was doing for Elmanders last goal, he let him have a free header 6 yards out at the front post.

Where's the best place to go for a pre match drink and will be full of West Ham?
Taking my mate to his first ever West Ham game and want to try and get him to become one of us

We're going to get a point in either this match or the next.
Probably the Chelsea home game.

Well done Fulham. I expect us to be the recipients of Manu anger. I can't bring myself to watch what I fully expect to be a mauling.
