Was I right in hearing "Where's your famous atmosphere?" from away support? Was awfully quiet for a while, could hear our support a great deal of the time on the TV.

We left from Lakeside at about 7.15, arrived at the Harvester at about 11.20. M11/A14/M6. Far too many roadworks on the M1 to risk that journey!

Thought there were more than 900 there tbh, only looked about 100 empties so about 1300.
Should be about 800-1000 of us on tuesday. I know there's a few northen based hammers up there who are making the trip, so hopefully more than 400.
Match of the Day reporter Paul Mitchell is fed some false information in his earpiece and accidentally refers to interviewee Scott Parker as West Ham team-mate Mark Noble:
The Witham Boy wrote:That to me today showed wat we can do if we want,Parker u were outstanding at last some proud to wear the shirt by the other players, cant knock them, rob green wat r we going 2 do with u i dont know u show how good u can b then then show how bad u can b the defence ave no confedance in u it showed 2 day, i am west ham though and though dont like to knock me own players but is it now time we droped you
today = 5 key strokes
2 day = 5 key stokes
you are not saving yourself any time or effort in trying to shorten a word that is only 5 letters longs you plum.
...was good to hear a rendition of claret and blue in the bar beforehand..it'd be great to get this going regular(again) and to ditch the anti-chelsea bollox that we hear every match... and its a much more accurate description of us and our aspirations ( south bank apart...!)
ALL TOGETHER NOW!!!!!!
" Bow Bells are ringing, for the Claret and Blue,
Bow Bells are ringing, for the Claret and Blue,
When the Hammers are scoring, and the South Bank are roaring,
And the money is pouring, for the Claret and Blue,
Claret and Blue,
No relegation for the Claret and Blue,
Just celebration for the Claret and Blue,
One day we'll win a cup or two, or three,
Or four or more, for West Ham and the Claret and Blue.""

You see all my years of singing that song and never knew it was 'Bow Bells are ringing',always thought it was 'The bells are ringing'
Just goes to show, anyway nice to learn something new.

ah, the bow bells is important as a starting point, otherwise you might be confused with villa,...
"The bells are ringing for the claret and blue,
The fans are singing for the claret and blue,
Everybody is knowing,
To the Villa we are going,
Cause the Villa are showing,
We're the best in the land.
BEST IN THE LAND!!"
