I should have added., one that plays in central midfield, can keep a position, can pass a ball and wants to be here.

Behrami was a regular in the shower of **** last year HH.

It's blend though isn't it?

Noble and Hitzlsperger are Mortimer and Wise.

One of them needs to be Morecambe or Reeves - but they aren't.

I was going to start one right after the final whistle for a giggle.

I've finally accepted that we're going down with this lot. Avram's not helping but tactics or no tactics, the players should still have basic abilities i.e. pass, tackle, move. They lack boll*cks for a fight. They've already surrendered. Practically everyone at the Club should be ashamed.

Last year's team would have beaten this year's team.

This just in from Avram Grant:
"We played well, but were unlucky. We scored first, they equalised, and then they scored again; This is football.
We need 9 more points, more or less, to stay up; The next 10 games will be crucial".

Agreed they both looked lost without Parker and couldn't handle Reo-Coker's direct style.

Given that we are in a relegation scrap the under-use of LBM is bizarre.

I think I have wanted to see him come on the field at some point or another in every one of our last four matches.....

A thought that crossed my mind too today.

And then I remembered that, barring a single week, Zola's team has bettered comparitively our league position this time around.

And then I got depressed and got another beer in.

Its only a game, y'all!

Funny old year all in all, I suspect there's a fair few twists and turns to come yet.

We all know that, just some won't acknowledge it. Susbstitutions today mind boggling. Said earlier, need to be a little savvy and this game wasn't the be all and end all of the season, just don't lose it...........

Thank God for that, plenty of games to get the 9 points :raver:

Not as bizarre as Hines leap frogging him and Faubert and Dyer and Barrera in a wide position...... genuine lunacy...

I'm beginning to wonder if Grant is being bribed by the Zola mob to make Zola look good (never thought I'd ever say that).

And they should have been 2-1 up when Bent's goal was unfairly ruled out.

Their lad took the ball. Big challenge though.

I'm being serious. Under Zola we at least always had a plan and the players gave everything for him. Under Zola with very few excpetions we never got battered like we did with Curbs and Grant.

Last year's team would keep possession and keep the ball away from this year's team and squeeze out a victory with an Ilan goal out of nothing and a Diamanti pen, and some poor defending from Tomkins/Faubert would gift Cole a consolation
