Actually...according to Gnome any feelings of outrage is...quote 'crap'. I must say when the fans accept this sort of stuff with a perfunctory shrug it must be music to the ears of the owners. Shame. I think my days are numbered on this site but what I would say is I have only voiced my opinion and not violated any rules.I think this is a disgrace and to accept it or make excuses for Grant is tantermount to condoning it. Lyall would NEVER have done that and before anyone says what a nice guy Grant is...Lyall was twice the man he is.

Er no. Go away and read what I said. The locking of your threads neither condones nor agrees with a particular view. It's merely stopping you from posting the same thing time and time again. Unless you think that you should be allowed multiple threads unlike everyone else for some reason.

For what it's worth, and since you brought John Lyall's name into it, I saw him swap a few words with opposition subs on numerous occasions.

I managed to find better things to get upset about.

We had a go today and despite them being the better side I though 3-0 flattered them. Yeah we're all pissed off but I can still see us beating Blackburn, Sunderland and Wigan. At least none of the sides around us won and Blackpool & Blackburn are in freefall. Let's get behind the team. All this negative b*llocks is doing my head in. So what if Grant shared a word with Torres. What has that got to do with anything? From some of the reactions on here you'd swear he was telling him how to score against us.

I don't think we deserved to lose 3-0 - we certainly should have at least scored once. But the late lick off allowed me to watch some other teams - and the reason we lose so heavily is so obvious. By far, we have the worst organised defence in this league. We are totally out of shape and allow far too much space and time. It has totally been our undoing this year and whatever we have done with a specialist coach has failed.

I thought we battled though, which was good to see. But we continue to be the statistic waiting to happen. You could have put your house on Torres scoring, even if he only played 15 mins. 3-0 and Torres scoring were the disappointments for me (plus seeing the names of Spector, Gabbidon, Kovac and Boa Morte back in the frame). To be fair though, Gabbs and Specs did okay today.

Good to see Sears having a good game. Truly, in that position, he is streets ahead of Obinna. But we go into the last 4, having scored just one goal in open play since we beat Stoke 3-0. Injuries are mounting up, and we are forced to turn to the old guard again. They just have to believe they can still get something at Man City.

Fantastic support though. Loud and clear in Stamford Bridge. Well done to all.

Despite the result, one of my favourite away days ever. Support was incredible from kick-off to final whistle. The renditions of Bubbles after each of the goals were some of the most passionate I've ever heard - really brought home what is still great about the club. Sometimes I get pissed off with sections of our fanbase, but today was a joy to be a part of, even on the way back to the station with good-natured piss-taking with the Chelsea fans replacing the usual tension at SB.

I don't mind too much if we do go down, cause that away support will still be there, and that's more important than anything else.

Proud of the effort on the pitch today as well. We've almost certainly left it too late, but at least it doesn't look like we're going to go out with a whimper.

My mate brought his Chelsea daughter to the pub. She playfully counted the seconds that we were in possession in the opposition half...

...it got boring before half time, but it illustrated well the reality of the full 90 minutes.

If either Spector (good effort well saved) or Sears (tasty flick, but Chelsea well-drilled to have a man on the line) had scored, the game may have been different. The truth really though was that we were dominated by the better team that had more chances and substitutes that could change the match.

One of a main problems is you just never know which west ham is going to turn up but if we take that attitude into the last
four games then we certainly have a slight chance of staying up, thought sears had a good game, i have been hoping he would come back in if we are to persevere with 433 as he offers us some pace and his workrate is good which the two wide of the three have to have, very impressed with spector also, he made some fantastic runs when we were on the counter yesterday which were'nt spotted unfortunately and his workrate was very good, hopefully he will be offered a new deal for next season as he will be a big player in the fizzy if thats where we are heading, tomkins surely has to start with gabbs next week as da costa makes too many mistakes when he is up against proper footballers, all in all yeasterday gave me a glimmer of hope that we can maybe get ourselves out of this! still think Ba is wasted out wide though!
